Retail Security Officer

Retail Security Officer responsible for providing security detail per post orders, controlling entrances and pedestrian/vehicle movement, patrolling buildings and perimeters, escorting materials/personnel, inspecting security and fire exposures, and handling special assignments. Duties include maintaining a professional image and delivering excellent customer service, greeting customers/visitors, reporting to post in uniform, staying updated on post orders, monitoring cameras/equipment, knowing emergency policies, completing daily activity and incident reports, and contributing to safety and loss prevention processes. Role may vary by department and location, with adherence to ADA requirements and collaboration with security teams and local authorities.
