Retail Security Officer

Retail Security Officer responsible for security detail per post orders, establishing relations with customers, law enforcement, and fire departments. Maintain professional image and deliver excellent customer service. Duties include controlling entrances and traffic, patrolling buildings and perimeters, escorting materials and personnel, inspecting security and fire exposures, and handling special assignments. Additional duties cover timely post reporting in full uniform, greeting customers/visitors/employees, staying current with post orders, monitoring cameras, responding to emergencies, completing incident and activity reports, recommending safety improvements, and understanding life safety systems and access control equipment. The role emphasizes vigilance, teamwork, communication, and adherence to policies.
