Retail Security Officer

Provide security detail at assigned post per post orders, including controlling entrances and movement of pedestrians and vehicles, patrolling buildings and perimeters, escorting material and personnel, inspecting security and fire exposures, monitoring cameras, maintaining a professional image with customers, visitors and employees, completing Daily Activity Reports and Incident Reports, and communicating security issues to the Security Supervisor. Must be aware of post orders, emergency procedures, life-safety systems (fire panels, CCTV), and maintain knowledge of equipment and safety processes; duties may vary by post, department size, and location. Emphasizes proactive customer service and loss prevention within the assigned area.
