Retail Security Officer

Provide security detail per post orders and establish professional relationships with customers, local law enforcement, and fire departments. Patrol buildings and perimeters, control entrances and vehicle/pedestrian traffic, escort materials and personnel, inspect security and fire exposures, and handle special assignments. Maintain knowledge of post orders, emergency procedures, and safety systems; prepare Daily Activity Reports, Incident Reports, and logs; communicate issues to Security Supervisor; greet customers and visitors professionally; monitor cameras and security systems; and contribute to loss prevention and safety improvements. Requires strong customer service, vigilance, teamwork, and the ability to respond to alarms and emergencies in a timely manner.
