Retail Security Officer

Provide security detail per post orders and establish working relationships with customers, local law enforcement and fire departments. Maintain a professional image and deliver excellent customer service while patrolling entrances, movement of pedestrian and vehicle traffic, and perimeters. Responsibilities include escorting material and personnel, inspecting security and fire exposures, handling special assignments, completing daily and incident reports, monitoring cameras, knowing emergency procedures, and staying current with post-order revisions. Must be proactive, vigilant, and able to communicate effectively; capable of teamwork and adapting to variable post assignments with a focus on loss prevention and safety. Knowledge of life safety systems, fire panels, CCTV, and building access equipment is expected, along with the ability to operate within ADA accommodations and to report findings to Security Supervisor.
