Retail Security Officer

Job Summary
Provide security detail per post orders with professional customer service; patrol buildings and perimeters, control entrances, monitor cameras, escort materials and personnel, and inspect security and fire-related exposures. Maintain a professional image, greet customers and employees, stay current with post orders, report suspicious activity or incidents, and coordinate with the Security Supervisor. Possess knowledge of life safety systems, fire panels, CCTV, elevators, and access doors; ensure safe operation of equipment and compliance with training guidelines. Duties may vary by post and location; daily reporting is required.
Required Qualifications
- Customer service orientation
- Professional image and communication skills
- Ability to patrol and monitor premises
- Experience with access control and CCTV is a plus
- Knowledge of life safety and fire safety systems
- Ability to complete Daily Activity Reports and incident reports
- Ability to work as part of a team and follow directions
