Retail Security Officer

Provide security detail per post orders and establish relationships with customers, local law enforcement, and fire departments. Maintain a professional image and deliver excellent customer service while patrolling entrances, controlling pedestrian and vehicle movement, escorting materials/personnel, inspecting security and fire exposures, and handling special assignments. Duties may vary by post; maintain awareness of post orders, report suspicious activity, monitor cameras, respond to emergencies, complete required reports (Daily Activity, incidents, logs), and contribute to loss prevention and safety processes. Knowledge of life safety systems and coordinated communication with Security Supervisor is needed; ADA accommodations may be provided as required. Proactive, customer-focused security presence with strong written and verbal communication skills.
