Retail Security Officer

Provide security detail per post orders and establish working relationships with customers, local law enforcement and fire departments. Maintain professional image and deliver excellent customer service while patrolling entrances and perimeters, controlling pedestrian and vehicle traffic, escorting material and personnel, inspecting security and fire exposures, and handling special assignments. Be on time in full uniform, greet customers politely, stay updated on post orders, monitor cameras/equipment, report incidents with Daily Activity Reports and Incident Reports, and contribute to loss prevention and safety improvements. Knowledge of life safety systems, fire panels, CCTV, and access control is beneficial. Maintain a proactive, team-oriented approach and communicate issues to Security Supervisor daily.
