Retail Security Officer

Provide security detail per post orders, patrol buildings and perimeters, control entrances and movement of pedestrians and vehicles, escort material and personnel, inspect security and fire exposures, and perform special assignments. Maintain a professional image with courteous customer interactions; greet customers, visitors and employees. Stay up-to-date with post orders and communicate security updates to the customer and Security Supervisor. Patrol property or maintain fixed posts, monitor cameras and equipment, respond to alarms and emergencies, and complete Daily Activity Reports, Incident Reports, and related documentation. Contribute to loss prevention and safety improvements, understand life safety systems and related equipment, and ensure proper operation of elevators and access doors.
