Retail Security Officer

Provide security detail per post orders and establish working relationships with customers, local law enforcement and fire departments. Maintain a professional image and excellent customer service while patrolling entrances, traffic, buildings, and perimeters; escort material and personnel; inspect security and fire exposures; and adapt to various post assignments. Maintain awareness of surroundings, report suspicious activity, monitor cameras and emergency procedures, complete Daily Activity Reports and incident reports, and communicate with Security Supervisor to address issues. Emphasizes punctuality, polite interaction with customers/visitors/employees, adherence to post orders, knowledge of life-safety systems, and the ability to work as part of a team in a dynamic security environment.
