Retail Security Officer

Retail Security Officer responsible for providing security detail per post orders, controlling entrances and vehicle/pedestrian movement, patrolling buildings and perimeters, escorting materials and personnel, inspecting security and fire exposures, and handling special assignments. Duties include maintaining a professional image, delivering excellent customer service, reporting to post in uniform, staying current with post orders, patrolling or maintaining fixed posts, monitoring cameras and emergency procedures, completing Daily Activity Reports and Incident Reports, and contributing to loss prevention and safety improvements. Knowledge of life safety systems, fire panels, CCTV, elevators and access doors, and awareness of ADA requirements; ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
