Retail Security Officer

Provide security detail per post orders and establish relationships with customers, local law enforcement and fire departments. Maintain a professional image with excellent customer service. Tasks include controlling entrances and movement of pedestrians and vehicles, patrolling buildings and perimeters, escorting material and personnel, inspecting security and fire exposures, and handling special assignments. Duties vary by post; maintain knowledge of post orders, communicate with Security Supervisor, complete Daily Activity Reports and Incident Reports, monitor cameras, and support life safety and access-control operations. Emphasizes vigilance, teamwork, urgency, and adherence to emergency procedures and company policies.
