Retail Security Officer

Provide security detail per post orders with professional customer service. Responsibilities include controlling entrances and pedestrian/vehicle movement, patrolling buildings and perimeters, escorting material and personnel, inspecting security and fire exposures, and handling special assignments. Maintain a professional image, greet customers/visitors/employees, stay current with post orders, monitor cameras as specified, report suspicious activity and incidents, complete Daily Activity Reports and Incident Reports, and assist management with safety/loss prevention improvements. Knowledge of life safety systems, fire panels, CCTV and related equipment; ensure operation of elevators and access doors; comply with training and regulatory requirements. Communicate daily with Security Supervisor regarding new issues or changes. The role may vary by location/post assignments.
