Retail Security Officer

Provide security detail and maintain professional customer service as described in post orders. Responsibilities include controlling entrances and movement of traffic, patrolling buildings and perimeters, escorting material and personnel, inspecting security and fire exposures, and performing special assignments. Maintain awareness of surroundings, monitor surveillance equipment, stay current on post orders, complete Daily Activity Reports and incident reports, communicate issues to Security Supervisor, and collaborate with customers and local agencies. Emphasizes proactive vigilance, adherence to life-safety policies, and the ability to respond to alarms and emergencies while delivering strong customer service and team coordination.
