Retail Security Officer

Provide security detail per post orders with professional customer service. Patrol buildings and perimeters, control entrances and movement of pedestrians and vehicles, escort material and personnel, inspect security and fire exposures, and perform special assignments. Maintain awareness of surroundings, monitor cameras, stay informed of post orders, report suspicious activity, investigate incidents, complete Daily Activity Reports and Incident Reports, and communicate security issues to the Security Supervisor. Maintain a professional image, greet customers and staff, and ensure knowledge of life-safety systems and emergency procedures; adapt duties to post assignments and location requirements. The role requires teamwork, urgency, and adherence to safety and loss-prevention practices as described by the employer.
