Retail Security Officer

Provide security detail per post orders and maintain relationships with customers, local law enforcement and fire departments. Patrol buildings and perimeters, control entrances, supervise movement of traffic, escort materials and personnel, inspect security and fire exposures, and perform special assignments. Maintain a professional image with strong customer service, greet customers and employees, stay informed of post orders, monitor cameras and alarms, report daily activities and incidents, and contribute to loss prevention efforts. Be prepared to respond to emergencies according to policies and procedures and communicate any security issues to the Security Supervisor. Knowledge of life safety systems, fire panels, CCTV, and related equipment is preferred to ensure safe operation of facilities and equipment. This role emphasizes vigilance, teamwork, and clear written and verbal communication within a security-focused environment.
