Retail Security Officer

Provide security detail as described in post orders; establish professional relationships with customers, local law enforcement and fire departments. Maintain a professional image and superior customer service while controlling entrances and movement, patrolling buildings and perimeters, escorting materials and personnel, inspecting security and fire exposures, and performing special assignments. Communicate changes to management, complete Daily Activity Reports and incident reports, monitor cameras, remain knowledgeable about emergency policies and life-safety systems, and ensure safe operation of equipment including elevators and access doors. Duties may vary by post; adherence to post orders and ADA accommodations are expected. Strong customer service, vigilance, teamwork, and the ability to respond proactively to security incidents are required.
