Retail Security Officer

Provide security detail as outlined in post orders and establish working relationships with customers, local law enforcement and fire departments. Maintain professional image and demonstrate excellent customer service. Patrol entrances and perimeters, control movement of pedestrians and vehicles, escort material and personnel, inspect security and fire exposures, and execute special assignments as needed. Maintain awareness of surroundings, report suspicious activity, monitor cameras and emergency procedures, complete required reports (Daily Activity Reports, Incident Reports), and contribute to loss prevention and safety improvements. Knowledge of life safety systems and related equipment (fire panels, CCTV, elevators, access doors) and adherence to post orders and customer requirements. Must be punctual, courteous, proactive about post orders, and able to work as part of a team with strong communication and a sense of urgency.
