Retail Security Officer

Provide security detail as outlined in the post orders and establish working relationships with customers, local law enforcement and fire departments. Security Officers must maintain a professional image and always demonstrate excellent customer service. Be on time and report to post in full uniform; patrol physical property or maintain fixed post position; monitor cameras or equipment; escort material and personnel; complete daily activity/log/incident reports; report any suspicious activity and investigate incidents; know life safety systems and ensure safe operation of elevators and access doors; communicate security issues daily with the Security Supervisor; contribute to safety and loss prevention improvements. Strong customer service, vigilance, teamwork, and clear written and verbal communication skills are essential.
