Retail Security Officer

Provide security detail per post orders for a retail environment; responsibilities include controlling entrances and moving pedestrian/vehicle traffic, patrolling buildings and perimeters, escorting material and personnel, inspecting security and fire exposures, handling special assignments, monitoring cameras, maintaining life-safety readiness, and completing all relevant reports (Daily Activity Reports, Incident Reports, etc.). Maintain professional image, greet customers and employees, stay informed on post orders, report suspicious activity, and coordinate with Security Supervisor on issues. Proficiency in reporting, communication, and teamwork is required; experience with CCTV, emergency procedures, and knowledge of life-safety systems is a plus.
