Retail Security Officer

Job Summary
Provide security detail per post orders, including patrol of buildings and perimeters, control of entrances and movement of pedestrians and vehicles, escort of material and personnel, inspection of security and fire exposures, and completion of relevant reports. Maintain professional appearance and customer-friendly demeanor, greet customers, and stay up-to-date with post orders and safety procedures. Monitor CCTV and emergency policies, ensure safe operation of access points such as elevators and doors, and coordinate with security supervisors on issues. Strong focus on vigilance, teamwork, and loss prevention; able to adapt duties across department sizes and locations as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in security or similar role preferred
- Ability to patrol and monitor premises
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to report incidents clearly and timely
- Familiarity with safety and security procedures
