Retail Security Officer

Provide security detail per post orders; control entrances and movement of pedestrian and vehicle traffic; patrol buildings and perimeters; escort material and personnel; inspect security and fire exposures; perform special assignments as directed. Maintain professional image with customers, visitors, and employees; greet people politely; stay updated on post orders and information from the customer and AFS; monitor cameras/equipment; complete Daily Activity Reports and incident reports; suggest improvements for safety and loss prevention; possess knowledge of life safety systems and related equipment; ensure safety of elevators and access doors; comply with training and regulatory guidelines; communicate security issues daily to the Security Supervisor. Skills include honesty, vigilance, strong customer service, teamwork, ability to handle multiple priorities, clear written and verbal communication, and adaptability to varying post assignments.
