Retail Security Officer

Retail Security Officer responsible for providing security detail as outlined in post orders: control of entrances and movement of pedestrian/vehicle traffic, patrol of buildings and perimeters, escort of material and personnel, inspection of security and fire exposures, special assignments, and maintaining a professional image with excellent customer service. Duties include staying up-to-date with post orders, greeting customers and employees, monitoring cameras, reporting incidents and emergencies, completing Daily Activity Reports and Incident Reports, supporting loss prevention, and understanding life safety systems and equipment (fire panels, CCTV, elevators, access doors). Collaboration with customers, local law enforcement, and fire departments, plus adherence to ADA accommodations and compliance guidelines.
