Retail Security Officer

Job Summary
Provide security detail per post orders and establish working relationships with clients and local authorities. Duties include controlling entrances and movement of pedestrians and vehicles, patrolling buildings and perimeters, escorting material and personnel, inspecting security and fire exposures, and handling special assignments. Maintain a professional image, greet customers politely, stay vigilant, monitor cameras, report suspicious activity, and investigate incidents. Complete Daily Activity Reports and Incident Reports, make recommendations to improve safety and loss prevention, stay current with post orders and emergency procedures, and ensure operation of life safety systems and access controls. Requires adherence to training and compliance guidelines and effective communication with Security Supervisor.
Required Qualifications
