Retail Security Officer

Provide security detail per post orders, establishing relationships with customers and local authorities. Maintain professional image and exceptional customer service while controlling entrances and movement of people and vehicles, patrolling buildings and perimeters, escorting materials and personnel, inspecting security and fire exposures, and performing special assignments. Responsibilities include reporting to post in uniform, greeting customers and employees, staying updated on post orders, monitoring cameras and emergency procedures, completing incident and activity reports, contributing to loss prevention, and understanding life safety systems and equipment. Effective communication with the Security Supervisor and adherence to training and compliance guidelines are essential.
