Retail Security Officer

Security Officers provide security detail per post orders, control entrances and movement of pedestrians and vehicles, patrol buildings and perimeters, escort material and personnel, inspect security and fire exposures, and perform special assignments. Maintain a professional image with customers and employees, greet visitors, stay aware of post-order revisions, monitor surveillance cameras, report incidents and complete required documentation, and communicate with Security Supervisors. Duties may vary by post and location, with emphasis on vigilance, loss prevention, and adherence to emergency procedures and life-safety protocols. Respond to alarms, incidents, and emergencies per established policies, and contribute to safe operations and customer service excellence.
