Retail Security Officer

Provide security detail per post orders and establish working relationships with customers and local authorities. Perform patrols of buildings and perimeters, control entrances and movement of pedestrian and vehicle traffic, escort material and personnel, and inspect security and fire exposures. Maintain a professional image and deliver strong customer service; monitor cameras and life-safety equipment; stay informed on post orders and emergency procedures; complete Daily Activity Reports, Incident Reports, and other relevant documentation; communicate security issues daily to supervision; contribute to loss-prevention and safety improvements. Ability to work with a sense of urgency, collaborate in a team, and follow directions as described by the client and post orders.
