Job Summary
Provide security detail per post orders, including controlling entrances and movement of people and vehicles, patrolling buildings and perimeters, escorting materials and personnel, and inspecting security and life-safety systems. Maintain a professional image and deliver excellent customer service; greet customers and employees, report revisions to post orders, monitor cameras, respond to alarms/incidents, complete Daily Activity Reports and related logs, and communicate security issues to the Security Supervisor. Duties may vary by post; ADA accommodations may be provided; role emphasizes vigilance, teamwork, urgent response, and adherence to safety procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Strong customer service skills
- Honest, alert and well-disciplined
- Ability to greet customers, visitors and employees in a polite and friendly manner
- Ability to patrol and monitor security equipment and respond to incidents
