Job Summary
Retail Security Officer responsible for controlling entrances and movement of traffic, patrolling buildings and perimeters, escorting materials and personnel, inspecting security and fire exposures, and performing special assignments as defined by post orders. Duties include maintaining a professional image, greeting customers and employees, staying current with post orders, monitoring surveillance equipment, reporting incidents and completing daily activity and incident reports, and contributing to loss prevention and safety improvements. Strong customer service, vigilance, teamwork, and the ability to follow directions and adapt to post-specific requirements are essential.
