Retail Security Officer

Provide security detail as described in post orders, including controlling entrances and movement of traffic, patrolling buildings and perimeters, escorting materials and personnel, inspecting security and fire exposures, and handling special assignments. Maintain a professional image with courteous customer service, greet customers and colleagues, stay informed of post orders, monitor surveillance equipment, respond to emergencies per policies, complete Daily Activity Reports and incident/log reports, and contribute to loss prevention through awareness and communication. Must be able to report to post in full uniform, work with diligence, and coordinate with security leadership and client staff. Knowledge of life safety systems, fire panels, CCTV and related equipment, and adherence to training and compliance guidelines is expected.
