Retail Security Officer

Provide security detail as outlined in post orders, including control of entrances and movement of pedestrians and vehicles, patrol of buildings and perimeters, escort of materials/personnel, inspection of security and fire exposures, and completion of required reports. Maintain a professional image and deliver excellent customer service while greeting customers, visitors, and employees. Stay updated on post orders, monitor cameras, report suspicious activity, respond to alarms/incidents, and communicate with the Security Supervisor. Possess knowledge of life safety systems and equipment, and collaborate with customers and local authorities as needed. Duties may vary by post, but duties emphasize vigilance, teamwork, and adherence to policies; ADA accommodations may be provided as appropriate.
