Retail Security Officer

Retail Security Officer responsible for providing security detail per post orders, controlling entrances and movement of people/vehicles, patrolling buildings/perimeters, escorting materials/personnel, inspecting security and life-safety exposures, and handling special assignments. Maintain professional image, deliver courteous customer service, greet customers/visitors/employees, stay updated on post orders, monitor cameras, report incidents and complete daily activity reports and logs, and communicate security issues to supervisory staff. Duties may vary by post, but always aim to ensure safety, loss prevention, and adherence to emergency procedures; familiarity with life-safety systems, CCTV, fire panels, and access controls is expected, along with the ability to work as part of a team and follow directions.
