Job Summary
Provide security detail per post orders and establish working relationships with customers and local authorities; control entrances and movement of traffic; patrol buildings and perimeters; escort materials and personnel; inspect security and fire exposures; perform special assignments; maintain a professional image and deliver strong customer service; greet customers and employees; monitor cameras and emergency procedures; complete Daily Activity Reports, incident reports, and related documentation; stay informed of post order revisions and safety policies; ensure knowledge of life safety systems, fire panels, CCTV, and access controls; participate in training and compliance activities; communicate issues to Security Supervisor and adapt to post assignments.
Required Qualifications
- Be on time and report to post in full uniform
- Maintain professional image and greeting customers, visitors and employees
- Patrol physical property or fixed post
- Monitor cameras or equipment
- Complete Daily Activity Reports, Log Book entries, Incident Reports
- Knowledge of life safety systems, fire panels, CCTV systems and other related equipment
- Ensure training and compliance guidelines are met
- Communicate daily with Security Supervisor about issues or changes
