Retail Security Officer

Retail Security Officer responsible for providing security detail per post orders, controlling entrances and movement of pedestrian/vehicle traffic, patrolling buildings/perimeters, escorting materials/personnel, inspecting security and fire exposures, and handling special assignments. Maintain a professional image and deliver excellent customer service by greeting customers, visitors, and employees. Responsibilities include staying current with post orders, reporting suspicious activity, monitoring cameras/equipment, knowing emergency policies, completing Daily Activity Reports/Incidents, and advising management on safety and loss-prevention improvements. Must be able to respond to alarms/incidents, operate life-safety systems and equipment (fire panels, CCTV, elevators, access doors), and coordinate with Security Supervisors on issues. Strong communication, vigilance, teamwork, and a sense of urgency are essential.
