Retail Security Officer

Provide security detail per post orders with professional customer service. Duties include controlling entrances and movement of pedestrians and vehicles, patrolling buildings and perimeters, escorting material and personnel, inspecting security and fire exposures, handling special assignments, and maintaining awareness of surroundings. Maintain a professional image, greet customers and employees, stay updated on post orders, monitor cameras, report incidents with Daily Activity Reports and Incident Reports, and recommend safety improvements. Knowledge of life safety systems, fire panels, CCTV, and access controls is helpful; ensure operation of elevators and access doors and stay compliant with training and guidelines. Coordinate with Security Supervisor on new issues or changes and demonstrate vigilance and teamwork to support loss prevention and safety.
