Retail Security Officer

Job Summary
Provide security detail per post orders, patrol buildings and perimeters, control entrances and movement of pedestrian and vehicle traffic, escort material and personnel, inspect security and fire exposures, and perform special assignments. Maintain a professional image with customers, visitors and employees, greet individuals in a polite and friendly manner, monitor cameras/equipment, report suspicious activity, respond to emergencies, and complete required security reports (Daily Activity Reports, Log Book, Incident Reports). Coordinate with security supervisors, local law enforcement, and fire departments as outlined in post orders, and ensure familiarity with life safety systems, fire panels, CCTV, elevators, and access doors to support safety and loss prevention.
