Retail Security Officer

Provide security detail per post orders and establish working relationships with customers, local law enforcement and fire departments. Maintain a professional image and deliver excellent customer service while protecting personnel and property. Responsibilities include controlling entrances and pedestrian/vehicle traffic, patrolling buildings and perimeters, escorting material and personnel, inspecting security and fire exposures, handling special assignments, maintaining logs and reports (Daily Activity Reports, Incident Reports), monitoring cameras, knowing emergency policies and procedures, and ensuring operation of life safety systems and access controls. Emphasis on vigilance, proactive post-order updates, reporting suspicious activity, and contributing to safer loss prevention processes; strong communication, teamwork, and adherence to post orders and company guidelines are required.
