Retail Security Officer

Provide security detail per post orders, patrol buildings and perimeters, escort materials and personnel, inspect security and fire exposures, and perform special assignments while maintaining a professional image and delivering excellent customer service. Responsibilities include controlling entrances and movement of pedestrians and vehicles, monitoring cameras, reporting incidents with Daily Activity Reports and Incident Reports, and ensuring life-safety systems and equipment (fire panels, CCTV, elevators, access doors) are operating properly. Maintain knowledge of emergency procedures, stay compliant with post orders, and communicate any security issues daily with the Security Supervisor. Strong customer service, vigilance, teamwork, and follow-through on safety and loss-prevention processes are essential.
