Retail Security Officer

Provide security detail per post orders and establish working relationships with customers, local law enforcement and fire departments. Maintain a professional image and deliver excellent customer service while controlling entrances, patrol buildings and perimeters, escorting material and personnel, inspecting security and fire exposures, and performing special assignments. Responsibilities include staying current with post orders, greeting customers politely, reporting suspicious activity, monitoring cameras, knowing emergency procedures, completing Daily Activity Reports and Incident Reports, and contributing to safety and loss-prevention improvements. Knowledge of life safety systems, fire panels, CCTV, elevators and access doors is preferred, with the ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a team.
