Retail Security Officer

Provide security detail per post orders and establish working relationships with customers, local law enforcement and fire departments. Maintain a professional image and exceptional customer service. Duties include controlling entrances and movement of pedestrians/vehicles, patrolling buildings and perimeters, escorting material and personnel, inspecting security and fire exposures, and handling special assignments. Responsibilities vary by post; maintain knowledge of revisions to post orders, communicate with the customer and Security Supervisor, monitor cameras, report incidents via Daily Activity Reports/Log Books, and contribute to safety and loss prevention. Ideal candidate demonstrates honesty, vigilance, strong customer service, teamwork, urgency, and clear written and oral communication, with ability to follow directions and adapt to changing post requirements.
