Job Summary
Retail Security Officer responsible for controlling entrances and movement, patrolling buildings and perimeters, escorting materials and personnel, inspecting security and fire exposures, and handling special assignments as assigned. Must maintain a professional image, provide excellent customer service, greet customers and employees, stay updated on post orders, monitor CCTV and alarm systems, report suspicious activity, investigate incidents, and prepare Daily Activity Reports and Incident Reports. Role involves working according to post orders, collaborating with clients and law enforcement as needed, and ensuring safety and compliance across shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in security or related field preferred
- Ability to patrol property and respond to incidents
- Strong customer service orientation
- Knowledge of life safety systems and emergency procedures
- Ability to complete and file security-related reports
- Must maintain professional appearance and demeanor
- Ability to follow post orders and maintain documentation
