Retail Security Officer

Job Summary: Provide security detail as outlined in the post orders and establish working relationships with customers, local law enforcement and fire departments. Maintain a professional image and deliver excellent customer service. Basic Functions include control of entrances and movement of pedestrians and vehicle traffic, patrol of buildings and perimeters, escort of material and personnel, inspection of security and fire exposures, and special assignments. Responsibilities: Duties may vary by post; ensure ADA accommodations when applicable; greet customers and employees, stay current with post orders, monitor cameras, report incidents, complete daily activity and incident reports, and communicate security issues to the Security Supervisor. Knowledge of life safety systems, fire panels, CCTV, and operation of elevators and access doors is desirable. The position requires honesty, vigilance, teamwork, clear communication, and ability to respond to emergencies. Locations (hint from scraper): Delaware City, DE, United States
