Retail Security Officer

Provide security detail as outlined in the post orders, establishing working relationships with customers, local law enforcement and fire departments. Patrol of buildings and perimeters; control of entrances and movement of pedestrian and vehicle traffic; escort of material and personnel; inspection of security and fire exposures; respond to alarms and incidents; complete Daily Activity Reports and Incident Reports; maintain a professional image and deliver excellent customer service; monitor cameras/equipment as outlined in post orders; stay informed of revisions to post orders and general information distributed by the customer. Maintain knowledge of life safety systems and safety procedures; communicate issues daily with Security Supervisor; be proactive and adaptable to post assignments and department needs.
