Retail Security Officer

Provide security detail per post orders, establishing relationships with customers, local law enforcement and fire departments. Maintain a professional image and excellent customer service. Core duties include controlling entrances and pedestrian/vehicle traffic, patrolling buildings and perimeters, escorting material and personnel, inspecting security and fire exposures, and handling special assignments. Duties may vary by post; ensure timely reporting, maintain post knowledge, monitor cameras, know life safety and emergency procedures, complete required reports, and contribute to loss prevention and safety improvements. Demonstrates vigilance, teamwork, and effective communication; respects ADA accommodations where applicable.
