Retail Security Officer

Retail Security Officer responsible for controlling entrances and movement, patrolling buildings and perimeters, escorting materials/personnel, inspecting security and fire exposures, and performing special assignments as defined by post orders. Maintain a professional image with excellent customer service, greet customers and colleagues, stay informed of post orders, monitor surveillance equipment, report suspicious activity, and respond to emergencies following established policies. Prepare Daily Activity Reports and Incident Reports, support loss prevention, and coordinate with security teams and local authorities as needed. Must be honest, vigilant, disciplined, and capable of handling multiple priorities, work as part of a team, and communicate effectively. The role emphasizes knowledge of life safety systems, fire panels, CCTV, and the operation of security-related equipment; duties may vary by location and post orders.
