Retail Security Officer

Retail Security Officer responsible for providing security detail per post orders, patrolling facilities, controlling entrances, escorting materials/personnel, inspecting security and fire exposures, and performing special assignments. Maintain professional image and deliver strong customer service; greet customers/visitors/employees; remain vigilant for suspicious activity; monitor cameras and equipment; stay updated on post orders and emergency procedures; complete Daily Activity Reports, incident reports, and log books; collaborate with Security Supervisor and participate in loss prevention improvements; knowledge of life safety systems, fire panels, CCTV, and access control; ensure operation of elevators and doors; responsive to emergencies and regulatory guidance; adaptable to department size and geographic variations.
