Retail Security Officer

Provide security detail per post orders for a Retail Security Officer role. Responsibilities include controlling entrances and vehicle/pedestrian movement, patrolling buildings and perimeters, escorting materials/personnel, inspecting security and fire exposures, handling special assignments, monitoring cameras and equipment, understanding emergency policies/procedures, generating Daily Activity Reports and Incident Reports, and maintaining a professional image with customers and staff. Must be vigilant, customer-service oriented, able to work with a team, and capable of reporting security issues to supervisors. Train and comply with customer/security guidelines and operate equipment (elevators, access doors, CCTV) as required by the assignment. Duties may vary by post and location but focus on security, safety, and loss prevention within assigned properties.
