Job Summary
Retail Security Officer responsible for controlling entrances and movement, patrolling buildings and perimeters, escorting materials and personnel, inspecting security and fire exposures, and handling special assignments. Maintain professional image, greet customers/visitors, stay current with post orders, monitor surveillance equipment, report incidents and emergencies, and support loss prevention. Must be honest, vigilant, and able to work with a team, delivering strong customer service and clear communication while adhering to post-specific duties and safety procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Be on time and report to post in full uniform
- Maintain professional image with courteous client interactions
- Patrol physical property or fixed post
- Monitor cameras or equipment per post orders
- Complete Daily Activity Reports, Log Book entries, Incident Reports
- Knowledge of life safety systems and fire panels
- Communicate security issues to Security Supervisor
- Duties may vary per post orders
