Retail Security Officer

Provide security detail as outlined in post orders and establish working relationships with customers, local law enforcement and fire departments. Patrol entrances and movement of pedestrians/vehicles, guard facilities and perimeters, escort materials/personnel, inspect security and life-safety exposures, complete daily activity and incident reports, monitor cameras, respond to alarms/incidents, and maintain a professional image with strong customer service. Duties may vary by post; maintain knowledge of emergency procedures and coordinate with security supervisors. Proactive in staying updated on post orders, greetings and interactions with customers, visitors, and employees; ensure safe operation of equipment and compliance with safety protocols.
