Retail Security Officer

Retail Security Officer responsible for controlling entrances, patrolling buildings and perimeters, escorting materials and personnel, monitoring CCTV and alarms, and reporting incidents per post orders. Maintain a professional image and deliver strong customer service while following post orders, staying aware of surroundings, and collaborating with customers, law enforcement, and fire departments. Duties include door/area monitoring, living up to ADA accommodations, completing Daily Activity Reports and incident reports, and ensuring life-safety systems and elevators/doors operate safely. Emphasis on proactive knowledge of post orders, reporting suspicious activity, and contributing to safety and loss-prevention processes. Must greet customers and visitors professionally and communicate effectively with Security Supervisor to address issues.
